Christening preparations

After a strenuous selection process Ellie´s prospective god parents are ready to go. The four lucky winners will take up their duties on 6th May..... it´s a heavy responsibility but we´ve got every faith that Kate, Kristin, Kim and Rita will be up to the job :-)

Manser invasion

The Mansers arrived on Saturday 11th Feb.... for 3 and a half days of family bonding. We sledged, we drank hot chocolate, we built sledging tracks in the garden.... and we all seemed to argue over who got the most time with Ellie. It appeared that Auntie Helen was universally acknowledged as the "Ellie hogger". This was something to do with the fact that she got up much earlier than the others.... so they didn´t have much to complain aboutas far as I could see!!
Was lovely to see them all.... and considering we have 2 bedrooms.... and there were 9 inhabitants.... everyone mucked in a treat....





End of January

We haven´t exactly been using up our sleep quota in Egnehjemveien. Hopefully it will improve soon. There don´t seem to be have been many normal weeks since Ellie was born.... but that´s only what we expect. Visitors, illness, snow.... I´m sure we´ll fall in to a routine soon.
Daddy´s beard is growing ever longer and Milly is using it to brush her hair...
Ellie is now much more aware of what´s going on around her. She will laugh or smile if you pull the right funny face.....
Milly hopes against hope that the summer is coming soon.....
